Class begins at the store with instruction on equipment assembly before spending the afternoon in the San Mateo pool refreshing basic scuba skills. All graduates earn a signature in their logbooks stating successful completion. However, divers must complete the eLearning reactivate program(sold separately) to receive a new certification card.

Need to Know:
Divers visit the store for a short orientation, no appointment necessary, no later than a week prior to the first session. A medical Questionnaire, liability and gear fitting is done at orientation. More >
- Must be 12 or older to take this course.
- A personal mask, snorkel, fins is not included and we do not rent it.
- Heavier dive gear such as tanks and wetsuits is included.
- Reactivate eLearning takes approximately 4 hours to finish.
